Adler Theatre Accessibility

ADA Seating

ADA seating is available for purchase in-person at the Adler Theatre Box Office (open Monday - Friday from 10 AM - 5 PM) or by calling 563-326-8522. Accessible seating is limited and can include up to three companion seats, therefore, guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Wheelchair-accessible seating is available foor all perfrmances in the following locations:

  • Main Floor - Section A, Row B, Seat 1 (only one companion seat available; Seat 2) 
  • Main Floor- Section A, Row P, Seat 12
  • Main Floor - Section A, Row V, Seat 11
  • Main Floor – Section B, Row O, Seat 2
  • Main Floor – Section B, Row W, Seats 8-11 (Semi-ambulatory Seat)
  • Main Floor – Section B, Row AA, Seats 8-11 (Semi-ambulatory Seat)
  • Main Floor – Section C, Row O, Seat 11
  • Main Floor – Section D, Row P, Seat 12
  • Main Floor – Section D, Row V, Seat 11

ADA Restrooms

The Adler Theatre and RiverCenter has two accessible restrooms located on the first and second floor walk ways outside of the theatre doors. These are also the only two restrooms with changing tables.

In the event a security check is required and access to the ADA restroom(s) are blocked, please notify a member of the Adler Theatre staff and we will be more than happy to provide access.

Assisted Listening Devices

The Adler Theatre is equipped with a hearing assist system, which is composed of LR-5200-216 RF receiver from Listen Technologies (performance system) with headsets for the public. Please call the Box Office to reserve one for Assisted Listening Devices can be picked up at the Box Office or notify ticket taker.

Hearing Impaired

The Adler Theatre is able to provide an Audio Descriptor. Please call the Box Office in advance to request this service.

Visually Impaired

The Adler Theatre is able to provide an ASL Interpreter. Please call the Box Office in advance to request this service.

Animals

Service Animals as defined by the American Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted.

Drop Off & Parking

Immediately in front of the Adler Theatre, there is a wheelchair ramp accessible drop off area. There is also a parking garage directly across from the Adler Theatre that is connected via a skywalk, all handicap accessible.

 

*Please note, the Adler Theatre is a historic building and there are no elevators to get to the balcony level.*
