"I work on the committee that helps organize the Quad Cities Youth Conference. We have held the conference at the RiverCenter for many years. The staff at the RiverCenter does an amazing job of helping us stay organized and help make the conference run smoothly. Whenever we need anything or have any questions, they are quick to respond and give us anything we need. The RiverCenter is very organzied and the communicaiton is excellent. "The wedding coordinator, Jennifer, was awesome to work with! The venue looked like a fairytale and the whole night was honestly a dream come true!! They were super accommodating for decorating and working with vendors. The food was great and people told us it was some of the best food they’ve had at a wedding. We were able to walk right over to the Blackhawk hotel which was nice as well. In truth, it wasn’t my first choice for a venue when we booked it, but I’m so glad we did, because it looked better than most of the places that charge an arm and a leg. It turned out to be super classy and dreamy! Highly recommend!"

"We had the best wedding reception and the best day of our lives at the RiverCenter! Working with Jennifer leading up to our wedding was such a great experience, she answered all of our questions and helped us make decisions based on her experience and expertise. She worked with us, as well as our vendors, every step of the way. The Friday before our wedding we were able to set up our space, which she was around for in case anything last minute came up. On our wedding day she was there to ensure everything ran smoothly! When we arrived for the reception she made sure we got some food from cocktail hour in us and went and got a drink for us as soon as we got the the head table. We continuously got asked who catered our dinner, which was the best dinner ever and catered by the RiverCenter’s own kitchen and chef. Chef was out during dinner and made sure everything was to his standards! The staff and bartenders were SO kind and also made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the night. At the end of the day, we would absolutely choose to have our wedding reception at the RiverCenter again and recommend it to anyone wanting a great experience in a great location! "

"The Great River Showcase is one of the most fun show choir competitions of the season. I attended every year as a competitor and it was so well organized. The event space is also fantastic; it was cool being able to perform on the Adler stage. "

"My wife and I booked tickets to see Charlie Berens. We reserved tickets for the upper balcony, but did not realize at the time that there was no elevator to that level. My wife has serious mobility issues, and this was her first night out with a cane. We arrived, and realized that my wife would be unable to climb the stairs up to our seats. As were talking about heading home, two wonderful women on staff overheard us. They saw our distress and actually found us open seats on the ground floor! They were so sweet, and so eager to make sure that we would be able to enjoy the show. It brought tears to our eyes, and we will never forget the kindness that was shown to us. Thank you so much to the staff for everything they did. You made my wife's night, and turned a nightmare into a moment of pure grace and joy. "

"I would like to thank Jennifer so much for the amazing venue for Gracyn and Kyle’s reception Saturday. It was simply gorgeous! The food and atmosphere were fantastic! She and her entire crew were also amazing to work with! Everything ran smoothly and so efficiently. But really what made the night extra special was the kindness of Jennifer's staff. They all seemed like they also were having a great time and genuinely wanted to be there (which nowadays is not usually the case). One lady in particular was so attentive to Gracyn! She took her dinner plate from her to carry back to her seat for her and stopped with her and patiently waited while Gracyn stopped to greet/chat with the many guests she passed along the way. She also checked on Gracyn throughout the night to see if she needed anything. I so with we would have gotten her name! Please let your staff know how appreciative we are and that they are all not only great at their job but also wonderful human beings! "

"Communication with the RiverCenter was excellent. Typically, Jennifer got back to us the same day or early the next day, and we were very pleased with the quick communication. The quality of the event space was great - it appeared up-to-date, safe, and overall a wonderful venue. Jennifer and her team did an amazing job helping with set up and tear down, and I was overly pleased with how nice and helpful everyone was. I would recommend having events at the RiverCenter to anyone! This event center really was perfect for our Christmas wedding. Their kindness, helpfulness, and respect went a long way, and Jennifer was great at breaking down the packages and catering options for us. From start to finish, I couldn't have asked for a better experience."

"We had our wedding reception at the River Center and I cannot explain how GREAT of an experience we had. We worked closely with Jennifer, who is simply amazing. She helped us and guided us throughout the entire process from all of our question upfront to determining food choices, lightening, and everything in between. On the day of set up, Jennifer and crew were amazing. They had all of the tables, linens, lights completely set up and ready for my crew to come in with table decor. She gave us OPTIONS and let us make the reception our own with all of her help. The night of the reception, Jennifer and TEAM were AMAZING. They were helpful, respectful, on point, quick, and ready to go. And the food, I cannot get over how many compliments we received on the food and the service of the River Center. After the reception, the River Center team was ready for pick up. So grateful for the entire team. I cannot say enough amazing things about Jennifer and team, as they truly made the best day of our lives, even better. Jennifer was so helpful throughout the entire process, I am truly grateful for her expertise and patience. We would recommend the River Center to anyone we know.
