About Eli Alger & The Faster Horses

Corn-fed and headstrong, Eli Alger is churning new dirt in an old-school way amidst the Nashville country music scene. The Des Moines Iowa native singer/songwriter was raised both cutting wood for his chores and cutting his teeth playing bars to put himself through college at the UOI with his eyes set on a bigger stage.

 Eli has now begun to establish himself as an old soul with innovative nuances. Holding lyrical depth, truth, and emotion in high regard with that traditional soul in his back pocket,  Alger embarked on his journey to Music City in the fall of 2020.

Since his move to Nashville, Eli has assembled his band The Faster Horses, and they have opened for the likes of Chris Cagle, Randall King, Eric Paslay, Lori Morgan, and have performed for recent official Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson events. They have broken the attendance record at a majority of the festivals and county fairs they have performed along their 2023 "Faster Horses: Fresh Out Of The Gate" national tour, where you would find Eli and the boys handing out free CDs and signing autographs until the lines were gone.  Additionally, their hit single “Rednexico” just surpassed 500k streams cumulatively across platforms, Their entire catalog was recently placed on all AMI JukeBoxes Nationwide, and Eli has performed the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden and in front of former President Trump at the NCAA Wrestling Championship Finals in Tulsa, 2023.
