Third-Party Vendor Tickets Can Cost You More Than Extra Money

DAVENPORT, IA – In a continued effort to best inform the public, the VenuWorks-managed Adler Theatre wants to remind patrons that the ONLY authorized online ticketing platform is Ticketmaster.com or via the Ticketmaster app, or the Adler Theatre website, www.davenportlive.com, which will link you directly to Ticketmaster.

Not only do third-party vendors often double or triple the cost of what the actual ticket price should be, you risk receiving invalid tickets that the Adler Theatre is not able to honor, refunds not being returned for rescheduled or cancelled events, an inability to make changes to the purchase, and missing important show information that is distributed to ticket purchasers.

If one would prefer to avoid an online purchase entirely, tickets can be purchased in person at the Adler Theatre Box Office located at 136 E 3rd Street, Davenport, IA, 52801, which is open Monday – Friday from 10 AM until 5 PM.

“When acquiring tickets for events at the RiverCenter/Adler Theatre, be sure to make your purchases through the Davenportlive.com website. Any other online ticket distributor is through a third-party seller,” stated Lance Sadlek, Executive Director of the Adler Theatre. “Acquiring tickets from a third-party vendor is almost always more expensive and greatly limits your flexibility to do such things as exchange seats for an event.”
